I booked an oil service through the Halliwell Jones website in Chester, then got a call from someone saying they were from the company. They told me the service price was going to be higher than advertised - an extra £20 because my car supposedly needed more work. They asked if I wanted to pay now, but I told them I'd only pay what was on the site and hung up. When I called Halliwell Jones today, they said they had no record of that call and apologised for the confusion. Watch out, folks - looks like there might be some dodgy calls going round!
