On the 24th of September 2020, around 2 in the afternoon UK time, I got a call from this number claiming to be from HMRC. They said there was tax fraud linked to me and told me to press 1 or I'd be arrested soon. I did press 1, but the call just cut off straightaway. When I rang the same number back, the person on the other end said the number wasn’t in use by anyone. As far as I understand, there’s no way I could have any kind of tax fraud against me.
