Got a dodgy call claiming to be from HM Customs about some tax issue and a case against me. Thing is, I don’t even live in the UK and don’t pay tax there! The number they called from isn’t connected to the Liverpool Tax Office at all. Tried ringing it back from a safe phone line and guess what? No answer, it’s like the number doesn’t even exist. Be careful and just hang up if you get this call. And seriously, don’t press 1 like they ask, it’s a trap! Stay safe everyone.
