I got a call from someone claiming to be from the gas and electric company. I asked them if I had actually requested a callback two times, and they responded with, "Why twice?" I couldn’t help but mention that their grammar was a bit off, and then they just told me to f off. Proper rude!

No idea who called, just ignored it like I do with most numbers now. Phones these days aren’t really for calling, feels like something from the 80s. If someone needs me, they can drop me a message on WhatsApp, Signal, or email. Proper phone calls feel dead. If you just don’t pick up to unknown numbers, you’re less likely to get caught out. Urgent stuff will come from people you actually know. Nobody’s rushing you to send cash or fill in surveys. Best just to block, ignore, and get on with life. Same story over and over.

some bloke called albert keeps ringing me up. i told him to leave me alone since he gets in after his night shifts, but he just laughed it off and said he aint gonna stop calling. also claimed his boss is some big secret or somethin. honestly, these kind of people are just a bloody nuisance, and it’s such a pain dealing with them. why are we forced to tolerate this rubbish?
