Someone rang saying they were from Carphone Warehouse. When I asked them to take me off their calling list, they just hung up on me immediately. I've since blocked the number and messaged Carphone Warehouse on Twitter to report it.

Got a call on my home phone from this number, didn’t answer it. Didn’t know who it was, so I decided to search it online. Seems like it’s known to be a bit of a hassle. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, so I’m just gonna block it straight away.

As soon as I picked up, they hung up on me... I had just rang the 119 Covid helpline, so maybe it’s connected? Not sure, bit odd really. Haha

Picked up a call from this number but it dropped straight away without saying anything. When I called back, an automated message said it was from a marketing firm and if it wasn’t important, I could press 9 to opt out. I hung up and have since blocked the number. I’ve been registered with the TPS for ages, so I reported it to them as well.

This number kept ringing me non-stop. I hung up every single time except for once. They rang me back so quickly, there’s no way a real person dialled that fast. When I picked up, it was obviously a bot because no one spoke. These calls are usually just to check if someone’s number is still live and answered. I reckon it’s probably a debt collection agency trying to confirm their details are up to date. Not sure if they’re tracking the number themselves legally or not, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have that kind of tech by now. My bet is they do.

When I picked up, the call just hung up straight away. The number showed up on my screen so I thought I’d answer it. Seems like it was one of those automated calls from some online system.
