I got a robocall saying it was from HMRC, though they never gave my name, just said I had an urgent issue to sort with them, like some fraud problem. They warned if I didn’t press 1 to get through to them, they’d send out an arrest warrant. The voice sounded really cheap and robotic, nothing like a proper HMRC call. Felt just like a scare tactic to trick people who aren’t careful.
