Got calls from this number about four times today on my phone, didn't answer. Bit annoying coz I’ve blocked loads of similar ones but they keep switching numbers.

Got a call from 0151 808 0076 at about 12:35pm today (1st Aug 2018), someone asking about a car crash. I asked them for my car’s reg number, they couldn’t say. Then I asked how they even knew about the accident, they said it was the insurance firm, but when I asked which one, they just didn’t know and hung up. Proper annoying, honestly. Some people seriously need to sort themselves out.

Got a call from Daniel at Road Care. Said he needed to talk about a minor accident I supposedly had no fault in. When I told him I hadn’t had any accident he seemed almost baffled and kept asking if I was sure. I’m quite sure I’d remember if I’d crashed my car.

Got a call from someone with a foreign accent, sounded Indian maybe. They wouldn't say which company they were from. I didn’t give any of my details or confirm who I was. The caller was really persistent and wouldn't stop talking. They said I’d been in a car accident some time ago. Sounds like a scam to me. Don’t share any personal info or agree to anything. I just ended the call straight away.

A young woman with an accent I couldn’t place rang me asking if I’d claimed for a car accident supposedly within the past two years. She mentioned the call was being recorded. I questioned her on where she got such wrong information and told her it was awful that her firm was making these calls. I also told her I was pleased the call was recorded since I had asked for my details to be taken off their database. When I said I intended to complain about these unwanted calls, she started to argue, so I ended the call.

A woman with an Asian accent rang me but didn’t say what company she was from or give her name. She asked if I was a Mr Grainger, and when I said I wasn’t, she said she had the wrong number. Then she kept asking if I was Mr Grainger and started questioning who I was and where I lived. I told her that’s none of her business and to hang up. Instead of ending the call, she started giggling like a child, so I cut her off. I’ve now reported the call to the police as suspicious and potentially harassment. I think it might be some kind of scam to gather info illegally.

A woman named Kelly rang me. I told her to remove me from their call list. She started arguing, saying I must’ve agreed to share my number. I told her I never consented to any calls or emails. Then she asked, “So how do we have your number then?” I just said I don’t know, I don’t care, and to stop calling me. She promised the calls would end. I think she mentioned being from road something, but I didn’t catch the last part.

Got a call earlier today from this number, some bloke named Tyren Williams. He said he was from Road Care at 5 Roundwood Lane, Manchester AL5 3BW. He also gave me a company number: 0158 276 1225. He began asking about an accident I’d been in over the last couple of years - problem is, I’ve had a few, so I asked which one he meant. He was just making it up, so I told him I’d call back and then ended the call.

Got a call from some company called road care asking about a little fender bender i supposedly had. The woman could barely say my name right, i kept telling her ive never had any accidents or hurt myself but she just kept going. eventually she said she’d remove my details from their records or something but honestly doubt it. This isn’t the first time ive got a call like this from different numbers. don’t understand how they actually make any cash doing this.
