This bloke rang me claiming to be from BT Openreach, said I needed to run a programme on my computer. The line was really scratchy and the guy’s accent was obviously foreign, sounded like he was just reading off a script. Totally felt like a scam right from the start.

I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise and they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail either. Got a couple of missed calls from that same number on my phone. Tried to look it up online to see who it might have been before thinking of calling back, but couldn’t find any info at all.
