Sounds dodgy to me. I got a call from someone saying they were from O2, offering 40% off my bill. Thing is, my phone bill with Giffgaff is only about £10 anyway, no contract or anything. I told them that discount wouldn't make a difference for me, but they just kept pushing and wouldn't accept my polite decline. Felt like a bit of a hassle.
