i keep getting calls from different numbers all sounding like they’re from abroad. they say they’re from your internet company and claim your device is infected or hacked. their “fix” is meant to get you to give them access. i was pretty sure it was a con, but i double checked with my real internet provider. if you call them out, they just cut the line. definitely dodgy foreign calls. don’t let them on your computer or tablet, it’s a trap!

Got two calls today that just rang twice then cut off. First one was from 0151 705 6752, then another from 0151 705 6753 - pretty sure these numbers are connected. I've blocked them both now.

No idea who that was, the phone stopped ringing after just two rings before I got a chance to pick up.
