Just tuck your phone beneath your pillow for a few minutes after answering it, and voilà, they’ll be off the line! I had a rather unpleasant experience with a call from this number associated with Redstar. Initially, it took me ages to get to the bottom of why they were ringing - three questions in, and I still had no clue what the purpose of the call was. Not the most promising start, if I’m honest. Then the caller mentioned I could get some refunds, which left me completely baffled. I found myself thinking, “Refunds for what exactly?” When they explained it was related to credit departments, I had to clarify, “Listen, I’m just a student and don’t even have a credit card!” Now, one would assume that any reasonably sensible person would recognise the futility of the situation and move on, right? But no, this chap persisted, bombarding me with more inquiries. At that point, I firmly requested to be removed from their calling list, but instead of heeding my request, he merely pressed on with more questions. I did my best to explain to him that he was wasting both his time and mine, and he might be better off pursuing someone else. But this fella wouldn’t take the hint!
