Today I got a call first time from this number, a bloke claiming to be from Red Star saying I was owed money from a credit agreement. I told him straight away I’ve never had any credit agreement and that I’m signed up to the TPS list. I warned that if they called again I’d report it, then ended the call. I’m curious how often they’ll keep calling. It’s mad really - we’ve managed to send people to the moon and craft probes beyond our Solar System, and phones can track workouts, heart rate, and even find your car with GPS. They can even talk back to us! Yet, phone makers still haven’t put in a proper button to block or bounce calls, or even send a quick message like “Do not bother me again!”. Been getting loads of calls from 01516769607, about 20 times now. I rang the main office on 01618345333 and told them I’d already raised it with trading standards because it’s cold calling. I asked them to take me off their list or else I’d have no choice but to report them properly. Also planning to moan to Ofcom about Redstar, who keeps calling me. Caller ID says it’s redstar.

Answered the call, then stuck the phone under me pillow for about 5 mins, after that, the caller hung up. Next step, I popped the number into Google and found out it was some dodgy character ringing. So I just blocked the number straight away. - caller: 01516769607

After seeing what others have shared here, if they call again, I’ll definitely let it ring for a good while before I do anything. I just got a really annoying and rude call from a number linked to Redstar. It took me asking about three times before the caller finally explained what the call was about - definitely not a great way to start. They said something about me being able to claim refunds. When I asked, “Refunds from what exactly?” they replied, “From credit departments and stuff.” I calmly told them, “Look, I’m a student and don’t even have a credit card.” You’d expect them to hang up or at least stop pestering, right? Nope. This guy kept grilling me with the same pointless questions. I asked to be removed from their call list, but he just kept on trying to engage me. In the end, I had to let him know this call was a total waste of time for both of us. Still, he wouldn’t give up! Honestly, I found the whole thing quite amusing! I just ended up chuckling and hung up. If I were you, I’d block this number and steer well clear of any calls from Redstar.
