Got a call from a Liverpool number even though I’m down here in Dorset. The guy on the other end spoke with a really clear, proper English accent, sort of like those classic announcer voices you hear on old shows. He said I was involved in some tax fraud case and warned me I’d get a summons if I pressed 1 on my phone. When I asked a question, he just hung up on me.
