Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming he was calling about my internet service. I told him my internet was fine, but he kept going on about other stuff. I told him straight up it was a scam, asked for his number so I could call him back, but he gave some rubbish answer like "100 1". I've heard this before - some call centres in India have ex-workers who grab people’s info and sell it on to other scammers. Don’t get tricked by these lot! If you do call back using 1471 to get the number, be careful - it can really jack up your phone bill! Stay alert, it's all a dodgy scam!

I got a call from a number but the person on the other end stayed completely silent. It was really odd, no words at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT saying my internet was about to get cut off because I'd supposedly downloaded some malware. They refused to provide any reference number and tried to hand me over to a "senior engineer" who would help me fix the issue. Bit fishy if you ask me.
