Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, then when I tried ringing back, it was just dead. Very strange!

Upon picking up the phone, a woman spoke in a rather fractured English and inquired, "Is this… [my name]?" Acknowledging her, I responded with a "yes," to which she immediately followed up by saying, "I’m ringing regarding your television." I prompted her to continue, but before I could catch another word, the call ended abruptly. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with an automated message stating that the number dialled wasn’t recognised. Quite peculiar, indeed!
