i used the bt call guardian feature on my bt 8600 phone and it’s the best thing ever for stopping all those annoying crank calls, honestly best phones around for blocking rubbish numbers.

No clue who that was. I didn’t even bother to pick up, just let it go to voicemail. Nothing was said at all, not a peep. Honestly, at 76, that sort of silence really spooked me.

So this number 1132 popped up, seemed like a normal UK phone, so I picked up. The person on the line had an Indian accent and said they were “Steve from TalkTalk tech support.” Didn’t trust it at all, so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, and there was loads of background noise like a busy call centre. He claimed to be from BT’s tech support. The moment I mentioned I work at the local police, he just hung up straight away. Pretty clear that was a scam call.
