It appears that they're solely focused on capturing responses like "Yes," "Alright," and "I'm pleased" from your voice. Once they've obtained that, they presumably share this information with various firms, potentially including Scottish Power. This could then serve as a sort of unwritten agreement for services with those companies. Naturally, you'll find yourself receiving calls directly from them as well. Just to clarify, this is merely my interpretation of the situation regarding this number. I've been inundated with calls from it, while Scottish Power insists that I possess a verbal contract with them for energy services, which I assure you, I do not.

BEWARE OF SHARING PERSONAL DETAILS! This bloke seemed to have knowledge of a postcode I once resided at, and then proceeded to inquire about my social media accounts, claiming he wished to find me online and get better acquainted. When I probed him about his reason for calling, his location, and how he’d obtained my information, he simply cackled and insisted he wasn’t unattractive, while indicating he’d be searching for me. What a weirdo! I've never encountered a call quite like it and I'm utterly relieved that I no longer call that place home. Even if intended as a prank, calls of that nature are far from amusing and could potentially be quite unsettling, especially for younger women!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming he was ringing from London. The number started with 0151, if that means anything. He mentioned something about a washing machine, but I told him sharpish he didn’t need to know what brand mine was. Told him nicely, three times, to never call me again. I received a rather irate phone call today from a gentleman claiming to be "Max," who clearly hadn't done his homework. He initially inquired if I was Mrs ......., to which I swiftly replied, "No." His reaction was rather shocking-he barked, "Then who the bloody hell are you!" I was taken aback, honestly. It's beyond maddening to be treated like this in my own home! He went on to probe about my postcode, age, and even had the audacity to ask if I had a daughter! At that point, I firmly stated that I don't disclose any personal information. When I pressed him for details about the purpose of his call, he insisted it was regarding my washing machine. When I asked which brand he was referring to, he mentioned "Hoover." I was quick to inform him that my appliance bears no relation to Hoover, and firmly told him to never contact me again since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I'm utterly fed up with these relentless nuisance calls!
