Today, I got two phone calls from a woman with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my BT account. When I inquired about how she obtained my number, she stated it was sourced from a BT directory. However, I’m not even registered with BT, so it was clearly a scam. Despite my frustration and attempts to redirect her, she continued her scripted pitch without a hint of stopping. I realised the best course of action is to cut the line as soon as you recognise they have no connection to you. They're simply not worth the effort or our valuable time.
