I received a rather alarming call from this number, purporting to be from the tax office. They were insisting that I was involved in some sort of tax fraud, threatening that a warrant would be issued straight away unless I pressed one. Naturally, I didn’t take the bait!

I received a call from an automated voice purporting to be from HMRC. I can't recall the specifics, but it claimed I was implicated in some tax dodging and warned that if I didn't select option one, I could soon find myself facing an arrest warrant. Quite alarming, really!
