When I queried how they’d obtained my number, the chap had the audacity to suggest it was my wife who’d passed it on, claiming she’d informed them of this supposed incident. The chuckle-worthy part? I’m not even wed! So naturally, I decided to keep him on the line for a bit of banter until he lost his cool and resorted to some rather colourful language.
