Yesterday, I got two annoying calls that felt like scams straight away, so I just ended the call quickly. I blocked the first number, but then they rang me again from a number that was only a bit different, so I blocked that one too. It’s frustrating that these scammers can keep popping up like this - surely there must be some way to track them down and take action? A lot of folks my age aren’t as clued up on phone and online security as I am, which worries me.

Got a call from some woman who insisted it wasn't a cold call. When I asked if I’d actually requested it, she just went silent and then ended the call. Immediately blocked her number.
