They just said something like “we have your number...” I told them I’m on the TPS so this call is against the rules, and warned if they ring again I’d report it. I got a call on 15/09/02 at about 11:20am from this number. It was one of those automated American voices claiming there had been some kind of accident - the usual annoying spam. I got a call about some accident I supposedly had, which is completely untrue. When I tried to find out where this accident happened, they just hung up on me in a really rude way. It's not right - these folks need to be held accountable because older people or anyone not savvy with these calls could easily get upset or scared.

This is pure SPAM and super pushy - I'd say just block this number right away on your phone. But if you’re up for a laugh, mess with them using a made-up tale. Like tell them you’ve been in an accident, a proper one on the road. This number called me about six times, but looks like nothing serious, so I went ahead and blocked it.

I pressed him repeatedly to clarify who he was representing and the purpose of his call, but he skirted around the issue. When he dropped that 'lovely' line, I decided enough was enough and hung up. Who are these blokes? Is there any action being taken about this? I have a nagging feeling this isn’t my first rodeo with this number.

Funny how they already ‘knew’ that without actually finding out who I was first. Before I could say much, they just cut me off. When I tried ringing back, no answer at all. If this number pops up on your phone, my advice is answer it and drag the call out as much as you can, then hang up. At least we’ll be wasting their time for once.
