Got a call from 0151 601 3711 claiming to be Openreach Earth Broadband. The woman on the line asked how much I’m currently paying for internet. I told her around £50, and she said they could lower it to £40. When she asked for my email, I told her it’s the same as when I first signed with BT. Before agreeing to anything, I told her I needed to chat with my husband. She seemed to get annoyed when I wouldn’t share my bank details and ended up hanging up. If she was legit, that’s her loss. My phone flagged the number as possible spam anyway.
