I heard that O2 is providing a 10% reduction on their prices.

Yesterday, I received a call from a landline number where the caller claimed to be from O2 offering a discount on my line rental. They sent me a code to my mobile, which appeared to come from an official O2 texting number. When I asked for the account password to confirm it was truly O2, the person said they were just sales and suddenly ended the call. Seems like a classic phone scam to me. I've reported it to O2 and also messaged 7726. Watch out for this dodgy tactic!

Got a phone call from this number earlier. The guy on the other end spoke in really bad English, claiming he was ringing from O2. I told him I’m actually with Virgin, and he immediately hung up. Seems like he had no clue O2 and Virgin are connected. Total scammer alert!

I got this call, someone with proper dodgy English telling me my subscription is gonna cost less now. Told them to just send any info by post or email if they’ve got my details, and not to ring me again with any of their sales crap. Can't stand these calls!

I've been receiving constant phone calls from this number, and it's becoming quite infuriating!

I received a call from someone purporting to be from O2, insisting they could slash my monthly bill by a whopping 40%. They even referred to me as a "valued customer," suggesting that this discount was my reward for loyalty. Quite amusing, really... Best to just block this number!

Absolute scammers. I kept saying, "Who's this?" over and over, then she just ended the call.

Someone rang me sayin it was 02 and they could sort me out with a bill discount. They never asked for any ID or personal details though, so seemed like a total scam to me. Definitely a fake call.

Received a call purporting to be from O2, stating I could enjoy a 10% discount. They even sent me a security code via text. However, when I quizzed them about the most recent bill I had, they provided incorrect details and abruptly ended the conversation. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

It seems that someone’s masquerading as O2!

Received a call from this number earlier, the person said they were with 02 and promised a 30% discount. They tried to connect me to some “discount department,” but after a bit of talking, the next caller repeated the same offer. I ended the call and soon after got called back asking why I disconnected. Told them straight up they were scammers and then they just cut me off. The caller got pretty rude too. Clearly a scam, so I blocked the number and filed a report.

Total rip-off, just trying to scam people.

Received a call today from this number saying they were with O2. The caller promised a 30% discount and said they’d connect me to the discount team. Then a different person called with the same offer after some chit-chat. I ended the call, but they rang back asking why I’d cut off. Told them it’s a scam, and they just hung up. The caller got a bit hostile. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked and reported them.

The call was really hard to hear, the connection was terrible, and when I said I wasn't interested, the person got quite rude. They said they were from O2, but it was clearly a scam. I really sympathise with anyone who might be more vulnerable and ends up answering this kind of call.

So this number rings me up saying theres a 30% discount on my bill, which sounded nice but problem is, the number they're calling isn't even tied to any contract with them. When I called back to ask and told them they sounded like scammer, the person on the other end got all hostile pretty quick. Not what I expected at all.

I rang the number back and got an automated reply saying it’s been shut down due to coming from outside the UK, although it showed Liverpool as the location. Some kind of rule was apparently broken or something. Sounds really sketchy to me, and it looks like the call got stopped. I've put it on my block list now.

Got a call from someone saying they were calling on behalf of O2, saying I could get 20% off my contract for a year. I told the woman, "Sure, that sounds good, just apply the discount on my account, no need to call me." After that, she went quiet and then just cut me off. Bit strange really.

It was about 2:22pm on a Saturday when I got the call. I usually don’t pick up numbers I don’t recognise. Pretty sure this one isn’t on the telephone preference service list. Feels like just another scam to me.

He called saying he had a £30 discount for me, but then started asking for loads of my info. First, he wanted the name of my first pet, then tried to confirm my account number by reading the last few digits - but they were muffled so I couldn’t catch them properly. The bloke said his name was something like Zachariah. Complete nonsense, definitely a dodgy scam.
