9 yearsThe caller had a really strong accent that was hard to understand. They said they were ringing from some sort of compensation firm, claiming I could get £4700 for a minor car accident injury I supposedly had. I kept telling them I’d never been in any crash, but they insisted otherwise. Then they tried to put me through to a "Verification Line" and that’s when I just ended the call, not sure where they were sending me. They rang me straight back right after and kept bombarding me with details about this made-up accident.
