Got a call from this number around 1.50pm today. Same as others have said, there was a bloke with a posh English accent asking for me by name, even mentioned my address. He was talking about sending me extra free lottery tickets and some scheme kicking off in November that lasts 12 weeks. It honestly sounded dodgy to me. I never trust phone calls from people I don’t know and definitely wouldn’t hand over any bank info. I’m marking this as a 'risky' call. Watch out, everyone!

Got a call from a well-spoken English bloke offering 10 free lottery tickets to promote the Lotto. Ended up giving my address, which I probably shouldn’t have done. These types of calls are just another “something for nothing” scam. Best thing to do is just put the phone down and ignore it.

About ten minutes ago, I received a call which I answered, only for it to immediately attempt to ring back or possibly dial a different number altogether! It's all a bit unclear since there’s no sign of the outgoing call on my log. In any case, I’ve decided to block the number now.

Got a call from 0151 556 8812 saying I’d been handed 10 free lucky dip tickets for the National Lottery draw coming up. They wanted me to verify my address, but what they didn’t realise was I’d picked up the phone almost a minute early and overheard a chat between the caller and their mate about setting up the next call. I didn’t even answer the first question properly and told them to remove me from their list straight away. I’m definitely blocking this number now. Seems like a classic SCAM to steal your personal info, so don’t share anything with them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be connected to Lottery services in the UK. They kept asking loads of leading questions and kept pushing me to buy tickets at 5p each. When I asked whether they really had anything to do with the National Lottery, the person sounded a bit defensive. Wasn't sure if it was a scam or not, so I just hung up to be safe.
