On 14th May 2025, I got a call from 01515565997. When I phoned back, there was a recorded message saying they’d tried to get in touch with me. It made me pretty uneasy when I looked up the number and it showed as Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital. Thing is, I’ve got no ties at all to that hospital.

Our home phone keeps ringing almost daily for more than two months now. Every time, we tell whoever’s calling that they’ve got the wrong person and to stop calling us. Right, this number keeps blowing my phone up. I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. I looked it up and got proper worried ‘cause it showed up as a cancer support centre. But here’s the weird bit - I called it back and got a voicemail saying “Welcome to Golden Egg Energy”. What’s going on? Are they seriously spoofing a cancer charity number? That’s just horrible!
