Some bloke rang me claiming to be from a company about a “car accident” I supposedly had. When I asked for his name, he just gave the company name instead. Then he said he worked for the DVIA compensation team - though when I pressed him, he had no clue what DVIA stood for. Later on, he switched and said he was from PPI. He kept going on about my accident and said I had £4000 to claim. I kept questioning him, and eventually, he got annoyed and just hung up on me.
