I received a rather peculiar call from this number, inquiring about our identity and mentioning that our Sky warranty for the dish and box was nearing its expiration. It seemed they were trying to persuade us to purchase additional coverage, suggesting it would set us back £65 for repairs if we contacted Sky. This is ludicrous, as it would actually cost us significantly more to have Sky come out for repairs, and I can’t recall ever signing up for any warranty. I suspect they are simply fishing for our banking information, so I firmly told them there was no chance of that happening and ended the conversation.

I received a call from this number at approximately 4:20 PM, but since no one was at home, I decided to pick up the machine. I concur with what Frances White mentioned earlier. The whole situation felt rather bizarre; it was like the end of a sentence or message. Quite strange, really.

For the last week or so, we've been getting calls from these jokers who either let rip with burps or make all sorts of daft sounds. Tonight, though, it’s been eerily quiet; as soon as I answered, they hung up. Are they trying to bait me into ringing them back, or is this some sort of scam with a hefty fee?
