She warned that my internet would be cut off if I didn't comply with her instructions. The line was quite muffled, and after struggling to understand her, I ended the call. However, she dialled me back and handed the phone over to her 'supervisor'-a chap named Desmond Miles. He proceeded to ask me to navigate to the command window and check my file associations. Then, he urged me to visit a website, www.teamviewer.com, which seemed to be about enabling remote access. After doing a swift online search, I realised it wasn’t quite right, and I firmly decided against proceeding further. I certainly wasn't keen on granting access to my computer to these individuals, who I strongly suspect aren't affiliated with BT at all!BTDesmond Miles10 yearsI received a peculiar call purportedly from BT, from someone who referred to himself as Jonathan McCarthy.
