So today out of nowhere my laptop got locked and there was this loud voice shouting some scary warning telling me to call Microsoft at a certain number. It kept going for about 20 minutes and I didn’t know what to do at all. Then I looked up the number here and found out it’s a scam. Big thanks to everyone who shared the info because it really saved me from a big mess. Nearly lost loads of stuff. Absolute nightmare - don’t ever call that number!

Some dodgy people have got into my laptop and locked it up, now they're asking for cash to unlock it. What a load of rubbish and complete rip-off! Absolute muppets.
