Just got a call from 0151 525 9144, some bloke claiming money was withdrawn from my account. Said he was from “Visa control” or something like that. I checked my banking app straight away, and there was no sign of the £79 or £1027 they mentioned. The guy called himself Officer Davies, but after giving him a load of abuse and a few choice words, he quickly hung up. Watch out, these mugs are trying to scam people left and right.
