They're based in the UK, engineers looking for jobs around here to fix or service stuff at home. They’ve sorted my Dyson out really well, and I pay a small monthly charge, like what two coffees cost, and whenever my Dyson’s acting up, they help out and even supply parts. I’ve had a couple of repairs done on my Dyson, and honestly, it’s good value, quick, and proper professional. It also helps keep things out of landfill and keeps people working. Cheers!

I recently encountered a rather peculiar situation with a phone call from an unrecognised number. Our "Announced Call" feature chimed in, identifying the caller as the "Child Welfare Centre." As a conscientious parent, I picked up the phone and cheekily responded, "Good day, Child Welfare Centre, how may I assist you?" To my surprise, they hung up straight away-perhaps they were banking on me not being attentive enough to their so-called introduction. If even a fraction of the comments I've seen about this organisation are accurate, it’s quite evident they lack integrity. I've gone ahead and blocked the number, and I strongly recommend others take similar action!

Received a rather unexpected call regarding "my Dyson" today! Seriously, it’s been two decades since I tossed that old thing aside for a much better vacuum cleaner - back in the last century, no less! I've gone ahead and blocked this number; it appears they’ve got my details from a Kirby shop in Stockport that closed ages ago.

This number belongs to the Vacuum Service Centre down in Liverpool. They mainly fix Dysons, but I’ve noticed they don’t always use authentic parts. For usual replacements like cables, filters, roller brushes or belts, it’s usually third party bits. For older vacuums, they tend to take parts from other machines they’ve repaired. The place is run by the same owner as Kirby Service Centre on 0151 521 6688, which is even worse - they push you really hard to get a new cleaner costing around £1000.

Received a call on the 15th of May, 2017, from some chaps claiming to be from a vacuum service. I couldn’t believe it! I informed her rather directly that I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service. If they weren’t aware of that, they ought to have done their homework before dialling my number. Anyway, I made my feelings quite clear about the whole thing!

I received a call from this number yesterday (10.05.17), inquiring whether I was interested in having my Dyson serviced. Absolutely no chance that I'd entertain a call like that. I’ve done a quick search online for the number, and it’s pretty evident that it's a fraudulent scheme.

Some bloke rang saying he was from Vac Service Centre about my Dyson, but he never asked for anyone in particular. I just said "oh" and he then asked if I still had a Dyson hoover. When I asked who exactly he wanted, he hung up straight away. I’ve never owned a Dyson, so either it was a wrong number or just some sales call.

Had a chat regarding my Dyson vacuum, but to be honest, I had no clue what she was on about. She quickly offered an apology and hung up. Honestly, if I ever needed anything repaired or serviced on any of my vacuum cleaners, I’d certainly not be foolish enough to trust a random cold caller for the job.

Yet another dodgy scheme that I managed to dodge!

I had the misfortune of blocking this number a while back, yet they continue to persist with their calls. Received another one today. Thankfully, my BT Call Guardian screens the calls, so my phone doesn’t actually ring, but I can still see the number flash up on my screen. Their tenacity is impressive! Oh, and while I do own a Dyson, I’d never consider having it serviced by anyone other than the proper company or their certified agents.

Once again, I've been bombarded by calls from Dyson servicing, despite the fact I’ve never even owned one of their products! It’s curious, though: those ancient Yellow Pages, the ones from Yell.com, reveal this number supposedly belongs to the Vacuum Service Centre located at 189 Longmoor Lane in Liverpool. A quick peek on Google Streetview confirms the existence of that shop, but interestingly, the contact number is entirely different. Strangely enough, neither appear in the updated Yell.com listings. This reeks of a scam, with someone likely sifting through a list of numbers they've unlawfully acquired. Honestly, steer clear of these charlatans!

I’ve just had a call from this number, and they were trying to persuade me to have my Dyson serviced for just £30 instead of the usual £70. Quite frankly, I’d rather pay the full price for a decent service! When I interrupted him mid-sentence to decline his offer, the call simply cut off. It’s quite amusing really, as I recall a similar experience about a year back when I got a call from Dyson themselves. They were offering to service my vacuum for a mere £15 as the technician was nearby - a significant reduction, wouldn't you say? Even then, I decided to pass on that deal!

I’ve just had a rather peculiar call from 0151 5254 777. A lady on the other end claimed to be from Dyson Registration and inquired whether I still used my Dyson vacuum. I mentioned I no longer do as I’ve invested in a G Tech! It only struck me after I hung up how foolish I was to engage with her at all. So, I decided to check the number through 1471 and a quick online search. Considering my Dyson is over six years old, it seems utterly pointless for them to be reaching out now. I’ve also signed up with the BT Preference Service, which makes it all the more frustrating that these calls slip through the cracks.

However, things took a turn when she claimed to be calling regarding my Dyson hoover. I promptly mentioned that I don’t possess one of those. In just a short span of ten minutes, I received two calls from this number, both of which were simply hang-ups. Luckily, I stumbled upon this forum through a quick Google search and managed to block the number promptly. Received a call touting discounted Dyson services-half price, no less! I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for the next day as they claimed they’d be nearby. When I inquired whether they were actually authorised Dyson technicians, they assured me they were. They even offered to service my handheld Dyson for a mere £9.99. Curious, I contacted Dyson directly and found out they had no affiliation with these folks whatsoever. As it turned out, having them work on my cleaners, both of which were still under warranty, would have voided that coverage. So, I promptly cancelled my appointment.

My mum got a call from this number, claiming to be an engineer nearby. Sadly, she fell for it and let him in. He attempted to sell her a vacuum cleaner she had no use for, then pretended to service her Dyson - and now it’s completely packed in! I must say, it's exceedingly frustrating when you receive those pesky calls that seem to come from genuine area codes. I’ve got quite a few mates in Liverpool with the 0151 prefix, so I always felt compelled to double-check it wasn’t one of them ringing - such a hassle! Thankfully, my son clued me in on how to identify these annoying numbers, which has been a real lifesaver. I wouldn't call it a scam. I happen to reside close to their premises, the Vacuum Service Centre Ltd, located in Liverpool. While cold calls can be quite vexing and are often associated with dubious characters, there are genuinely reputable businesses like Vacuum Service Centre Ltd that rely on this form of outreach to connect with prospective customers. In today's digital age, with numerous online resources and directory services available, it's rather straightforward to verify the legitimacy of a number before jumping to conclusions. Personally, I've only come across positive feedback regarding this local enterprise that actively supports our community.
