I received an automated call claiming that a tax fraud case had been filed against me. The message warned that if I didn’t press 1 to connect with HMRC, I’d face arrest soon. Obviously, I didn’t press anything and just ended the call. I’ve flagged it as suspicious since I’m not sure what might’ve happened if I’d followed their instructions.
