Got a dodgy call today, and the caller actually knew my name which freaked me out a bit! It was a lady claiming to be from HMRC, saying there’s a legal case being opened against me. Definitely felt like a scam.

Not sure who it was, I got a message but my answerphone picked up in French. The caller said her name was Amanda but I didn't catch much as the machine ended the call early.

I got a call from a woman who sounded like she had a Dutch accent or something, asking if I wanted to sell my shares. She seemed pretty keen on buying them.

Someone tried to pull a share purchase con on me. They were saying their shares were worth just under £2, and suddenly offering £8 each! I reckon their next move would've been asking for some kind of advance payment to seal the deal. Definitely dodgy.
