I've had a few calls now from a robotic voice, accent firmly American, stating that it's from "Your internet service provider" and threatening to disconnect my internet. It keeps prompting me to press 1 to speak to someone about it. This has happened three times already - very suspicious!

I received a rather dodgy automated call today, claiming that my internet service had been hacked across multiple nations. They ominously warned that my network would be disconnected if I didn't take action, urging me to press 1 to rectify the situation. Quite concerning, to say the least!

Just like others have mentioned, I received a call claiming to be from 'BT'. It was one of those automated voices stating my connection was in jeopardy and that my 'IP' address required alteration-asking me to press 1 to chat with an engineer. Yeah, right! It’s high time these con artists are located and put to an end! This marks the seventh time I've dealt with this nonsense in just five days.
