It seems we’re facing the exact same predicament as countless others. A few callers reached out for me, and the moment I picked up, they abruptly disconnected. Each time we try to return the call, we’re greeted with a recorded message stating that “this person has ended the call.” Quite the nuisance, really!

For the past fortnight, we've been receiving calls from 01514710111. Every time we try to return the call, they simply hang up. The same occurs when they reach our voicemail; as soon as the beep sounds, they disconnect. It’s quite bizarre behaviour!

I've been called a staggering fifteen times now! Each time I try to ring back, the line just cuts off. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

Received two calls from this number, and they hung up. It's really frustrating! I can't return the call either.

We received a couple of voicemail messages from this number, urging us to give them a ring back. Shortly after, they phoned us on two occasions, with one person asking for someone who’s never set foot in our household. We explained the situation and kindly requested no further calls. To our surprise, the following day it happened once more. This time they apologised and, thankfully, they haven’t bothered us since.

We've been receiving calls from this number over the last few days, and they've been leaving us nothing but empty voicemail messages. Quite odd, wouldn't you say?

We receive those calls as well. It’s our firm belief that it's a robotic dialling system attempting to find out when you're available.

Came across a remark on a different site stating that this Mercers debt collection agency is actually owned by Barclaycard.

Received a couple of calls on our mobile earlier today, but these folks hung up just before we could pick up. Didn’t feel inclined to return the call since I don’t recognise the number. Given what Andrew mentioned, it’s quite likely a scam, so I reckon it’s best to just disregard it.

We've had two missed calls on our mobile, and every time we try to return the call, we just get a constant busy signal. It’s quite frustrating, especially since they’ve chosen to ring us right when we’re working the night shift.

I suspect this might be Barclaycard, given that we're currently in the red. They've been attempting to contact us, ringing us on both Saturday night and Sunday, which I found quite peculiar. They've never left a message, though.

We've been receiving calls from these folks at home as well, and they just hang up without a word, which is incredibly frustrating. What can we do to put an end to this nonsense?

We're rather puzzled as to why we keep receiving calls from these individuals.

Well, here’s a right bother! We received not one, but two calls from these folks on the afternoon of Saturday, the 15th of March, insisting we cough up a payment that they had neglected to collect via direct debit. It’s worth noting that they also tried their luck with a call on Friday, the 13th of March. Allegedly, there was some kind of technical hiccup on the 5th of March 2009 that prevented them from processing direct debits, and now they’re resorting to pressuring customers into making payments by threatening them with all sorts of fees and charges for falling behind. Unbelievable!

We've been getting missed calls from this number, and whenever we try to return the call, it just says the other party has hung up. It's rather frustrating, to say the least!

I've received calls from 01514710079, and I urge you not to be lured into responding to unknown numbers. We decided to ignore the call entirely! I’m planning to inform BT about this number, as I reckon they have the means to block such callers from bothering you.

We keep getting these calls as well! It's around three a day for us too. What’s baffling is that we don’t even possess a Barclaycard!

I suspect these individuals are linked to Barclaycard. They asked for our personal details, so I told them to buzz off!
