I've received a call from someone pretending to be O2, claiming they could give me complimentary unlimited texts, calls, and data. When I probed them about whether it was a scam, they insisted they could send a verification text from O2 to my phone. However, I've done my homework, and there’s no doubt in my mind - it’s a dodgy operation!

i guess this number is just another spammer. loads of folks say it’s pretending to be from 02, and that sounds about right. i only started getting calls from it after i got a new phone. feels a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call about some really cheap phone deal and ended up giving them all my bank and card info. Then they passed me onto someone else - there were two blokes and a lady, all speaking English but with an African or Asian accent. Quite suspicious if you ask me.
