I had this chap ringing me up, insisting he was from some housing firm. He was incredibly pushy, phoning me several times before I finally answered. He was keen to find out whether I was renting an apartment or if I owned any property.

Somebody rang me saying they were from a housing agency but it was pretty clear they weren’t legit.

Got a call from 0151 456 1897 which showed up as a Liverpool number on my phone. The person on the other end had an accent that didn’t sound British at all, more like a call centre overseas. They said they were part of a housing disrepair service for tenants of councils and housing associations, meant to help fix problems. Don’t think they were really local though.
