She had a recorded voice and said there’s no one available to answer right now, which was weird because they actually called ME. Then she gave me a different phone number to ring back on. The same number has kept ringing at really odd hours over the last few days, but whenever my dad picks up, there's just silence. This morning it called me twice. A woman spoke, she had a strong Indian or Asian accent, sounded like the line was crackling or something, and she totally messed up pronouncing our name - which is the same for both me and my dad. this call was a bit of a laugh, the person on the other end claimed they were doing a no-obligation free survey - but the line was pretty fuzzy and hard to make out. at first, the lady mentioned loft insulation or something like that. i passed the phone to my missus, who said "we already have loft insulation." might've been smarter to say we ain't got a loft, as this place has a flat roof! basically, lies leads to more lies! my wife didn't stop there - she quipped, "we'd like to accept the obligation of not having any survey." they pretty much hung up straight after that!
