4 yearsI had a rather jovial chap on the line earlier, who identified himself with a quintessentially English accent. He rang me regarding some housing maintenance issues, but as soon as I mentioned I wasn’t interested, he disconnected rather abruptly. It feels like it might be one of those automated systems programmed to cut off as soon as it senses the word "no". Quite the peculiar experience, really!4 yearsTotally feels like a scam to me.4 yearsThey called me but I didn’t answer, no idea who it was.4 yearsI must admit, I'm quite troubled by this experience. When I picked up the phone, the caller sounded rather sprightly and greeted me with, “Hello, how are you?” I replied, “Who’s this?” He responded, “I’m Mike, and I’m following up on the issues you mentioned regarding your home.” To which I said, “I think you’ve dialled the wrong number,” and promptly ended the call. It’s very evident that this jolly tone is designed to draw you in and catch you off guard before you have a chance to think twice. The second I said no, the robot voice just ended the call straight away.4 yearsI dunno if it was a joke or what but it really wasn’t amusing at all. As soon as I answered, the person on the other end just began cursing at me out of nowhere and then hung up.4 yearsThis seems to be one of those call centres from India, and it’s mainly a lot of dodgy calls. I wouldn’t be surprised if the last comment was left by one of their team.
