On Wednesday the 14th of September, I rang 1037 but didn’t get an answer.

Just wanted to mention I checked this number before deleting and blocking, turns out it was already on my blacklist. So whoever flagged it before was right, 01514561007 is a fake number masking the actual caller. Is there any way to stop these kinds of calls for good?

This one’s flagged as “suspicious”. When I tried ringing back the missed call, it came up with a message saying “the number you have dialled is invalid, please check and try again”. So it’s clearly some automated system, not actually from around Liverpool (0151). Seems like classic telemarketer nonsense. Lately I’ve been getting loads of calls that look local but when I call back, same story every time - all different numbers, but dead ends when returned.

As soon as I picked up, they just cut the call. Definitely sounds like one of those premium rate return scams.

I picked up even though the number was unfamiliar. The person just hung up straight away. I've decided to block that number now.

There was this awkward silence for like 10 seconds, then a robot-sounding voice just said "Goodbye" before the call ended.
