Got a call from a woman with a robotic voice saying she was from 'Bank Security' - never mentioned the actual bank though. The grammar she used was pretty dodgy. She said two transactions were made from 'your card today' - one was about £200 on Amazon, the other £700 cash withdrawal, but she never said which card she meant. Got a call on 30th August at 11:04 from someone claiming to be from bank security. This bloke goes by Alan Hunt (though I reckon his name might be wrong) and works for bailiffs chasing council tax debts for the council. Honestly, no empathy at all. Never open the door to a bailiff, ’cos once you do, they legally can come inside, make a list of your stuff to sell off, and come back later with cops to take it away. If you don’t let ’em in, they’re powerless and can’t do a thing, so best just to give ’em the cold shoulder.
