Had a call from someone claiming they needed to do repairs on my house, but it was just a sneaky way to collect my info. These kinds of data theft scams really need to be cracked down on and the people behind them punished properly.

I don’t even live anywhere near Liverpool nor have I reported any housing problems, so clearly this call was totally irrelevant. When I picked up and said hello, it sounded like some sort of automated voice system responding to me. It seemed like they were waiting for me to say something, maybe recording what I said. They kept using really vague names like ‘housing officer’ and ‘housing disrepair team’ which felt quite dodgy. I ended the call after about half a minute, because I’m pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a call from this number around 4:40pm. When I picked up, there was this robotic voice asking "Hello, how are you?" then after I stayed quiet it repeated with "Hello, are you there?" Felt dodgy so I ended the call straight away and decided to report it here. Seems like some kind of scam or phishing attempt to me.
