I noticed a missed call from this number on my phone the other day but they didn’t leave any voicemail. A couple of days ago a very similar number rang me too, might be from that same marketing firm? I’m avoiding calling back since I don’t recognise the number - could just be some autodialler checking if my phone’s active, and I don’t want to give them that info. Anyone else picked up and know who this is? Curious what’s behind it.

I got involved with this mystery shopper thing but it feels like they are really just after middle aged homeowners, like me and my partner. The person on the phone even admitted it before telling me I’d won a trip. Then they tried to hand me over to some ‘manager’ who I’m pretty sure was going to ask for my bank info to nab a deposit or something.

I asked them if they wanted to speak to G-Smith, but told them there’s no one with that name here. They said it must be a wrong number, no company was mentioned. When I tried calling back the company number, the line just went dead.
