Someone pretending to be Midlands Telecom has my last name and mobile, calling me about upgrading my o2 deal. I've received calls from them using numbers from London, Birmingham, Manchester, and now Liverpool. It’s like they’re trying different locations to get through.

I've had a couple of missed calls from this number, one around half five and another just after six. Strangely enough, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. It seems like they're flouting GDPR regulations and the rules set out by the ICO regarding pesky calls. Very frustrating!

I received a call from someone purporting to represent a call blocking service, claiming that my debit card was no longer valid. However, that’s simply not the case. When I probed him with some questions, he became quite agitated and questioned why I was inquiring further. After a brief exchange, I bid farewell to the gentleman, who seemed to have an Asian accent, and ended the call.

Someone rang saying they were from the Telephone Preference Service, asking if I’d been getting annoying calls lately. They freaked me out by already knowing my full name, where I live, and even when my debit card runs out. That’s when I got suspicious and figured it had to be a scam because I never shared any of that info with anyone!

This is really frustrating. I don't get why they'd say it's connected to Scottish Power when 0151 is a code for Liverpool numbers. Also, who exactly are these UK Nationals and why’s the message sounding like it’s from someone in the States? Plus, when I call the number it just won’t ring through. To me, something’s definitely off here, like the clues just don’t add up properly.

I can verify that he was indeed preventing my number from getting nuisance calls. After that, he mentioned something about my debit card being out of date. At that point, I decided to hang up.
