This one time, there was a voicemail from some Indian lady who didn't seem to get that my answerphone isn’t a real person, she kept talking before finally giving up. Seeing what others have said here, I’m really happy I didn’t pick up. That number’s now firmly blocked.

Some bloke called saying my PPI claim with Black Horse was approved for £4000, and his fee was just £250. I had a laugh, which clearly didn’t go down well. He started going off, asking why I was joking about it all. We had a bit of a chat, with me pretending he had me fooled, but then he got annoyed and started being rude before just hanging up. All I did was chuckle, no idea why he got so worked up.

I got a call claiming I was owed £4,000 for a PPI claim. Thing is, I never even filed one, nor did I have PPI. So I just ended the call and put the number straight on block.

Loads of these debt scam calls going around. When you say hello, there’s always a weird pause before they patch you through to a call centre that’s definitely outside the UK. Just don’t bother, hang up and block the number straight away.

Twice today I got calls on my mobile from a guy with an Asian accent who actually knew my name. He claimed to be ringing from a credit firm, but since I’m not in debt, I told him I wasn’t interested in any credit offers. After that, he just cut the call. Seems dodgy to me, like one of those financial scams.

I got a call from 0151 456 0519 earlier. When I picked up, all I could hear was some noise in the background and then they just ended the call without saying a word. Bit odd if you ask me.

Got a call earlier from a Glasgow number, the bloke on the other end couldn't seem to say my name right. I just blocked it straight away. Then, about an hour later, he rings back from a different number and still fumbles my name. I told him he must have the wrong person, he quickly apologised and wished me a nice day before hanging up. That number's blocked now too.

Blackhorse is one of those finance companies that handle loans, mainly for cars and that sort of thing. Honestly, I don’t really get why PPI is mentioned here since you can’t even claim PPI anymore. Seems a bit off.

I got a call from a guy claiming I owed some money, but I told him he had the wrong person and asked his name - he said Kevin. The call came through at 12:02 from Liverpool, number 0151 456 0519. I ended the call since I’m sure I don’t owe anything to anyone. Bit worrying that he had my mobile number though.
