Rang me up twice. When I picked up, it felt like I was conversing with a ghost-totally quiet, as if I was on hold for some sort of automated service.

I couldn't make out what anyone was saying, all I could hear was some clattering on the keyboard. Then suddenly, I was greeted by the prompt to "re-record your message" before the line went dead. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

A chap rang me without bothering to mention his name or how he got hold of my number. He launched straight into a rather dubious sales pitch that I found hard to believe. I declined his offer and then he abruptly ended the call.

I encountered an individual claiming to be named Sam, though his thick Indian accent made it hard to be entirely certain. He vaguely mentioned something about working for Curry's and proceeded to dangle the enticing offer of a new iPhone 14 for just £35 a month. He went on about some sort of deals they supposedly had with all the network providers. Thankfully, I don't handle my own phone plan, but even if I did, I certainly wouldn’t have shared any personal information with him.
