This bloke called Sam, going on about a medical alert bracelet or summat. Pretty quickly I cottoned on that it was some kind of AI thing, just rattling off questions and then waiting for you to say something, no real chat happening. It was actually a bit amusing watching it just keep going on like a robot with no clue. If we get another one of those bot calls, I’m defo recording it - would be a right laugh!

I got a call from a bloke who sounded English. He just said hello, so I said hello back. After that, he asked if I could hear him, then went quiet for a bit. I didn’t bother waiting and just ended the call - seemed like a total scam to me.

I missed the first ring from this number but then a few mins later, another call came through from 0121802500. A bloke called Sam said he was a carer from my area, which sounded a bit off to me, so I wasn’t too pleased and he ended the call pretty fast.

I got a call from someone saying I qualified for a free medical alert since I live alone, I’m over 70, and apparently in poor health. When I asked how they knew all that, they just wouldn’t say. After that, they just left me be.

If this number rings you, best thing to do is just hang up straight away. They always start with something like "can you hear me alright?" and it's so obvious they're trying to scam you. Don't bother answering back, just end the call.

I've found that dodgy callers usually try to avoid any sort of real interaction. They just want to rush you and don’t stick around for a proper chat. Definitely don’t waste your time engaging with them!

Got a call from someone with a local accent, maybe Liverpool? They said I’m on a list for an alarm pendant or something. I quickly told them to stop, but I reckon if I’d kept talking they'd have asked for my account details. Feels like this is a scam aimed at older, more vulnerable people!

Just like others have said, this bloke rang up saying I had a health issue and needed a free medical alert. When I asked where he got that info from, he went quiet for ages - like 20 seconds - then just avoided the question and launched into his sales spiel. I ended the call straight away, but I’m worried this kind of thing might fool people who’re unwell and easy to trick.

I got a call from someone with an urgent tone asking "Are you hearing me alright?" I answered, "Yeah, I'm fine," but then they went silent. I hung up straight away, but later felt uneasy wondering if they'd use my voice saying "Yeah" for something dodgy.

A caller claimed to be a healthcare expert from my local vicinity. He mentioned that he was aware of my health issues and offered to help me out. However, when I inquired about his employer, he kept jabbering away, ignoring my question, and insisted he could send a complimentary package my way. I decided to hang up the phone.

Got a call from this number earlier today, 24 June, around 9:56 in the morning. There was nothing but silence when I answered, no one speaking. Definitely some kind of scam operation. Just like loads of others have said, this caller Sam sounded like he was reading straight off a script. The line kept cutting out and he wasn’t really taking in what I was saying. From what I could gather, he was trying to tell me I probably have some kind of health issue since I’m over 60, and then pushing this call button thing at £1.70 a week. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Some bloke called claiming he was from some health company, asking loads of questions about my health and pushing these free medical alert gadgets. Just like everyone else here, I got a call from some bloke claiming he was a local health professional. I had to ask why he was ringing from a Liverpool area code - I’m from there myself, so it caught him off guard. He rammed on about some health stuff but when he mentioned needing help in an emergency, I said my missus is a nurse. These nasty characters are clearly trying to scare people who might be easy targets.

Got a call on my landline from someone named ‘Sam’ saying he’s a health worker nearby. I’ve worked in the NHS for years and never come across this place. Usually, they’d send a letter or go through your GP, never call like this. Told him I was busy on another call with my poorly mum and asked him to get to the point.
