3 yearsI had this caller who kept bugging me nonstop. They actually asked for the code that was just sent, and I kinda foolishly told them even though it clearly says you’re not supposed to share that info with anyone from 02. Feeling so annoyed at myself right now!3 yearsThese two numbers, 044 161 524 6156 and 044 151 453 3470, kept ringing me up three times each claiming to be from O2. Don’t trust them, it’s definitely a scam.3 yearsGot a call around 3:25 pm on the 1st of May 2023 from someone saying they were ringing on behalf of O2 about some complaints regarding their service. When I asked why they’d called me, the person said I’m an O2 client - which isn’t true at all! I then asked them to tell me my name, thinking they’d know it if they were legit. There was a pause, then they rattled off some random numbers and quickly ended the call. I’ve blocked the number, but I’m guessing they use several different lines. What a laugh!3 yearsTotal rip-off.3 yearsI’ve no idea who this person is, and they simply ended the call when I asked them for details.3 yearsAvoid this one!! They claimed to be from O2 after I got a text supposedly from them warning about fraud. Right after the text arrived, this number started ringing me again and again. They said they were doing a survey for O2 about the network and promised a 40% discount on my line rental. But they insisted they needed the one-time code from the text, even though the message clearly said O2 never asks for that code. Total scam.3 yearsBeware of scams pretending to be O2! They ask for a one-time passcode - don’t share it! I contacted O2 myself and they said if I’d given those scammers the code, they could’ve signed up for contracts using my details! Stay safe and don’t fall for it!3 yearsRight after O2 messaged me a code telling me not to give it to anyone else, I got a call from this number.3 yearsSomeone called saying they were from O2 and that they could sort a discount on my bill. But then they asked for the security code you need to get into your account. Felt dodgy, like they just wanted to get in and mess with my stuff. Definitely don’t give out your O2 login code to anyone.3 yearsI chose to ignore the call.3 yearsGot a call from an unknown number, phone just rung briefly and then they hung up. No voicemail or anything left.3 yearsI got a call from someone claiming they were with o2, saying I could get a discount on my phone bill because others had been moaning about signal issues. Funny thing is, this call came soon after I got a text apparently from o2 that had a one-time password in it. Seemed a bit fishy to me.3 yearsI got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. Since I’m not an O2 customer, like others have said, I’m pretty sure it’s not from them. These days I just ignore any calls from unknown numbers.Submit Your Own Report (0151 453 3470)
