Got a call from someone saying they were from Vodafone but it’s a total scam. They check your number info and pretend to be from your provider. Best thing to do? Just hang up and block the number straight away!

Got a call from this number on my phone. Didn’t know who it was so I just let it go to voicemail. Since there was no voicemail or text left, I decided to check it here and ended up blocking it. With me waiting on some important calls right now, I’d say dodgy callers like this are DEFINITELY NOT WELCOME.

Got a call from this number on my phone, but I couldnt pick up. They didnt leave any voicemail, so I have no clue who it might be since the number isn’t familiar to me.

Seems like one of those auto dial scams. How come they dont just shut these bogus numbers down?

Got a call on my mobile from a Liverpool area code. It wasn’t anyone I know and since I wasn’t expecting anyone from Liverpool, I just let it ring out. Usually these random calls are just spam or scams anyway. No voicemail was left and I never bother calling back. Looked it up here and have blocked the number now.

Got a ring from this number earlier. He texted me a code to use, but I spotted it was from O2 UK (O2 space UK) not the usual O2UK, so I got a bit wary. When I told him I was hanging up, he started getting quite rude. I didn’t hold back and told him off right back!

Definitely a scammer, saying they were from Vodafone. The call quality was awful and you could hear loads of other people chatting in the back, like some dodgy call centre overseas.

I just listened to an Indian woman going through a script about an affordable phone upgrade, referencing O2. To be frank, I find it somewhat hard to accept that this is genuinely an O2 call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from EE, but felt fishy. They kept denying being scammers until I mentioned I expose them every day on my YouTube channel. They ended the call super quick after that. Wonder what’s up with that?

Wow, I’ve been getting tons of calls like this lately. They say they’re from O2 and try to sell me huge discounts on my phone plan. Phone companies really need to do more to block these annoying numbers.

This number 01514533247 looks like it could be a scam caller, according to what I saw on here. My missus got three missed calls from it today, 16/08/23. After checking the reviews on this site, she decided to block and delete the number straight away.

Somebody rang me pretending to be from O2, but I’ve never had anything to do with them. Pretty obvious it was a scam.

When I answered, there was silence on the other end but I stayed quiet as well, maybe that’s the reason. Probably a scammer because I keep getting calls like this claiming to be from O2, even tho I’m not even an O2 customer...

Seems like spam to me, these calls always come at the same time after a few weeks of me not picking up. They never bother to show any company or business details.

Completely a scam call, no doubt about it! They definitely aren’t affiliated with O2, so beware and don’t be fooled!

Lately I've been getting loads of calls claiming to be from Vodafone or O2. The callers have such thick accents it's really hard to catch what they're saying. They also mentioned something about me having a good credit score, which is odd since they don’t even know my name. Plus, the line quality is awful. Some of the numbers I've seen are 01514533247 and 01615243621.

Just finished a call from this number where they tried to persuade me about some refund or pitch me a contract, but I told them I’m not tied to any deals. I could tell straight away it was dodgy because of that weird VOIP sound quality. For those who don’t know, VOIP means “voice over internet protocol” and scammers often use it to call mobiles and landlines pretending to be legit. These muppets usually target older people, trying to scare them into handing over cash. Make sure to watch out for friends and family who might get caught up in these nasty scams.

I received a rather peculiar call from a woman purporting to be from O2. She mentioned that due to some recent connection issues, they were handing out a 40% discount to all customers for the next six months. Quite an attractive offer, I thought! However, the conversation took a turn when she transferred me to a chap from a different department. To my surprise, he claimed he couldn’t find my number in their system at all! After a brief and rather awkward silence, he abruptly disconnected the call within mere seconds. Very strange indeed!

Got a call from some guy with a really strong Asian accent trying to sell me an early contract renewal with a discount for my O2 phone. Trouble is, I don’t even use O2! Gave him a piece of my mind and then blocked the number straight away.

Someone said they were from O2 but it was a total scam. I’m on pay as you go and they kept going on about a monthly bill, which I just don’t have. They tried to offer me a 30% discount and some other deal for being loyal, until I told them I don’t even get a monthly bill. Then they went silent and just cut the call.
